Founded by legendary vintners Dan and Margaret Duckhorn in 1976, Duckhorn Vineyards is an iconic Napa Valley winery. Located in the southern end of Napa Valley, Cork Tree is our coolest estate vineyard, providing abundant hangtime for the grapes. Planted on a sloping, west-facing hillside, Cork Tree yields a beautifully structured and sophisticated Cabernet Sauvignon, with alluring aromatics, supple tannins and generous layers of blackberry, black cherry and fig.

Winemaker Notes
This wine reveals aromas of brambly blackberry backed by nuances of cedar and fig compote. On the palate, lively acidity adds energy and lift, with round, muscular tannins framing the luxurious dark berry flavors. As it evolves, hints of coconut and fresh mint emerge adding complexity to the long, rich finish.
Production
2019 brought another exceptional vintage to Napa Valley, resulting in wines with alluring polish and poise! The season began with a wet winter followed by a mild spring. While this led to a slightly later-than-normal start to the season, ideal summer weather with no significant heat spikes ensured ideal flavor development, yielding complex and vibrant whites, and refined reds with elegant tannins, enticing aromatics and beautiful fruit flavors.
